A head's up and low down on this week's menu - Pizzettes will probably be "the usual" toppings-wise. Avocado heroes on Wednesday are dependent on the avocados ripening by then. This week's avocados are currently rock hard. If they just aren't soft enough by Wednesday, the heroes will be served on Thursday, and the roasted vegetable sandwich will replace them on Wed. Check back for updates. Update on avocados - ready-to-go.
News from the Dark Side - Official sources speaking from the D.S., alerted us to the possibility of cute little cubes of cheese accompanying the wine at the senior art show reception. [ Love those cute little cubes of cheese.] Congrats to our own Asya. Nice work.
Last week we bid adieu to Mark Lavon Helm. 'Any World That I'm Welcome to, ...'
Last week we alerted the masses to the alpine strawberry invasion in our own back yard.

The work-a-day world takes its toll,
You may gasp for a grasp of the Whole,
To trade virulent clatters, for something that matters,
Put your hands on the shape of a bowl.

Personalities of the week: Steph and Sophie; Hands to work, hearts to God.
