The low down on this week's menu -  Scored a big one this week, caught an avocado sale. Very hopeful that they will be ripe for Wednesday. Check back, an alert will be posted on Wed. morning if they aren't. And yes, the avocado heroes are the ones with the red onion pickles in them, and yes, that means pickles twice in one week.
News from the dark side - official sources say 'Chai Spice cookies are rumored to be making a momentary appearance back around Opus 1. The A.M. lunch menu board designers are getting fancy. Chalk it up to their shining personalities.'

Last week's employee of the week was Henri, for reasons best not gone into here.
Last week we all yet again bemoaned the demise of our espresso machine. I'm hopeful that this week will see a miraculous recovery of said machine.
Last week, we gave a nod to Louie Perez, lyricist extraordinaire.

The work-a-day world takes its toll,
You may gasp for a grasp of the Whole,
To trade virulent clatters, for something that matters,
Put your hands on the shape of a bowl.

Personalities of the week: Steph and Sophie; Hands to work, hearts to God.
